University Hospital for Treatment of Hematological Diseases Sends a Thank-You Letter to BAALO

BAALO received a thank-you letter from the National Hospital for Treatment of Hematological Diseases for donating individual protective equipment to prevent the risk of Covid-19 infection.

The National Hospital for Treatment of Hematological Diseases, Sofia, received a donation from the Bulgarian Association of Agricultural Land Owners.

The assistance received from BAALO members has been  tailored to the needs of the hospital and includes 9 000 disposable gloves and over 2 300 single-use three-layer masks.

The hospital is a unique medical institution with a history of over 60 years and it is also a successor to the Research Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion established in 1948, with a clinical basis as an independent medical institution.

The National Specialized Hospital for Treatment of Hematological Diseases, Sofia, is the largest health institution of its kind in Bulgaria, specializing in this kind of treatment.
