BAALO Supports Another 3 Hospitals as Part of Its Charity Campaign “Together Against Covid-19”

BAALO’s charity campaign “Together Against Covid-19” continues. The members of the Association donated personal protective equipment, disinfectants and protective clothing to “St. Petka” Hospital, Vidin, and “Dr. Ivan Seliminski” hospital, Sliven. The General Hospital for General Treatment in Karnobat was provided with a free 12-channel ECG machine.

“It looks like we’re a long way from overcoming the Corona virus infection. That is why,  my colleagues and I continue to support hospitals, doctors and medical professionals who work on the frontline. That’s the least we can do for them. We believe that anyone, regardless of their occupational field, can be useful in this situation. This is what we are aiming for and we are continuing with our active donation campaign”, commented the President of the Association Mr. Stayko Staykov.

In April, BAALO started its charity and donation campaign by supporting the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences for their project named “Project for scientific developments related to the fight against Covid -19 and other infectious diseases”. In early May, personal protective equipment and disinfectants were donated to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry. The assistance was directed at the employees of the Regional Agriculture Departments who  are actively working on field. BAALO also supported two families of deceased medical staff  who had contracted Covid – 19.
