BAALO Helps Dr Ivan Seliminski Hospital in Sliven

On June 17, 2020, the Bulgarian Association of Agricultural Land Owners donated protective masks KN-95 (FFP2), face helmets and reusable overalls (suitable for working in an environment with patients infected by Covid-19), to the General hospital Dr. Ivan Seliminski, Sliven.

Mr. Staykov, BAALO’s Management Board chairman, presented the donation on behalf of the members of the Association personally to the Executive Director Dr. Vasislav Petrov in the presence of the Regional Governor, Mr. Chavdar Bojurski.

Dr. Petrov expressed his gratitude to BAALO for the timely assistance. It is designed for frontline doctors and healthcare professionals caring for patients infected with Covid 19 when performing their professional and moral duties.

“It is of utmost importance to us that donation campaigns to support hospitals, doctors and medical professionals who are engaged in treating Covid-19, be resumed. I welcome any such initiatives because the facts show that the coronavirus is still among us and the battle with the infection is not over,” said Chevdar Bojurski, the regional governor. He added that the Regional Crisis Headquarters is ready to provide full assistance to all those who wish to assist medical institutions in the epidemic situation.
