Application Process For Discount On Excise Duty For Gas Oil Opens September 9th

For the current year, the scheme has a budget of 84 million BGN.

Applications under the state aid scheme in the form of a rebate on the value of the excise duty on the gas oil used in primary agricultural production starts on 09/09/2019. It continues until 27/09/2019.

At a later stage, the rate per litre is yet to be determined. It will be based on the budget and the sum of the individual annual quotas of farmers.

In 2019, excise duty may be claimed on invoices for purchased gas oil (diesel fuel) in 2018. To this end, farmers must submit applications for receiving financial aid by the state.

This can be done at the municipal agriculture offices under the guidance of the Regional Directorate “Agriculture” based on permanent residential address of a person, sole proprietors, or based on the address of management of legal entities. It is necessary to present copies and an inventory of invoices for the fuel purchased.
